Meet Nathalie
Certified Dog Trainer & Behavior Consultant
In 2007 Nathalie entered the local dog industry as a professional dog hiker by setting up her business "The Dog Hikers". The business was unique in the SF South Bay. There was no other business offering a service where a group of dogs would go on a hike in one of the local Parks and Preserves. The business grew fast and became one of the most successful dog businesses in the South Bay. The combination of force free methods and hiking multiple dogs by a knowledgeable professional were a sought after service.
Nathalie continued her education in the dog training and behavior field. For most of that time she operated under the name Smith Dog Training. Nathalie continues to offer her knowledge and skills to non-profit rescue groups such as Love & Second Chances. Her specialities are puppies, fearful dogs and aggression.
Nathalie uses aversive free & humane dog training methods to teach dogs the skill set to be a successful member of our society.
Nathalie shares her life with her husband Jeff. They have two adult children who flew the nest and a beautiful grandson. Nathalie also shares her life with 3 dogs and 1 cat.

Meet Kimberly
Certified Dog Trainer & Behavior Consultant
Meet Kimberly
Dog Trainer & Behavior Consultant
Kimberly began her journey when her first son was born in 2004. She was looking for a way to work with dogs and be a new stay at home mother. Her dog walking business was born and she and her new baby set out, leashes and poop bags in hand! As the years went by and the babies got older, a new focus into training began.

It is Kimberly's mission to educate canine guardians about positive, rewards based and fear free training methods.

Kimberly dedicates many hours to understanding the science behind how dogs learn and thus has adopted force free and rewards based training methods. No aversive tools are used during her training sessions and are discouraged completely. She will teach these methods to puppy and adult dog guardians using fun and engaging techniques.

Kimberly is owned by two Great Danes and a Golden Retriever. She enjoys her family time (two sons and husband) at the beach in their RV.
